If employees around Chicago think their office has what it takes, they should grab a video camera and catch the humor in action. Employees can submit their videos online to www.youtube.com/keurig from 9:00 a.m. March 17, 2010 through 11:59 p.m. April 23, 2010.
"Being at the heart of improvisation and sketch comedy in Chicago, The Second City knows employees at businesses across the city have a wealth of undiscovered comedic talent,” said Keith Karem, Vice President of Marketing for The Second City. “We are thrilled to partner with Keurig and give these talented stars a chance to show off their funny sides.”
The top 20 finalists and the grand prize winner, deemed Chicago’s Funniest Office, will be announced on April 29, 2010. A panel of judges from Keurig and The Second City will determine each of the finalists and the ultimate winner.
Each finalist will receive a free Keurig B155 office brewer and a 12 count K-Cup® portion pack variety pack. In addition, Chicago’s Funniest Office grand prize winner will also receive four boxes of K-Cup portion packs, 15 tickets to The Second City, a pre-show behind the scenes tour and the winning video displayed on The Second City Shorts YouTube page.
